Fees, Billing and Insurance

We are sensitive to the rising costs of medical care. The fees charged in this office are comparable to those charged by other competent Neurologists in the area. Our basic policy is to have payment in full at the time service is provided.

Sleep disorders and neurological disorders are recognized medical problems and are covered by most major insurance plans; however, coverage does vary.

HMO, POS or EPO plan members will need to provide a referral slip from their primary physician at the time of service.

The West Georgia Sleep Disorders Center and Neurology Associates staff will pre-certify all patients prior to testing.

Insurance: As a courtesy, we bill most primary and secondary insurance carriers. However, co-payments and deductibles are due at the time of service.

Medicare: We bill Medicare for you. All co-payments are due at the time of service.

Medicaid: Those with GBHC must have their Primary Care Physician; office make appointment and provide to our office before appointment date a number to authorize all office visits and tests.
