Fariba Farhidvash, M.D., P.P.H, joins West Georgia Sleep Disorders Center & Neurology Associates September 1, 2009.  Born and raised in Atlanta she attended Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA, graduating with a B.A. in Chemistry and French.   She attended Emory University School of Medicine for her medical doctorate and neurology residency training and went on to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN for an epilepsy fellowship.  After extensive travel and work in Southwest Georgia, Dr. Farhidvash attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD obtaining a Masters in Public Health.  Dr. Farhidvash is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and  the American Epilepsy Society.  In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Farhidvash plans to dedicate time fulfilling the public health needs in the area of neurology and epilepsy. When not working, Dr. Farhidvash enjoys traveling, experiencing Atlanta’s restaurants and anything else that involves family and friends.
