Sleep Procedures & CPAP Services


Nocturnal Polysomnogram: An overnight sleep study that records brain activity, muscle activity, heart rhythms and breathing activity during sleep. The test is helpful in evaluating patients who snore, who stop breathing in sleep, or who have excessive leg or body movements at night. The test is performed in a sleep laboratory.

CPAP Polysomnogram: When a patient is diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea, a CPAP Polysomnogram is indicated. This sleep study will include CPAP titration throughout the night and optimal CPAP level will be determined.

MSLT: An MSLT is a series of four to five daytime naps which is performed after a full night polysomnogram. This test is designed to properly evaluate daytime sleepiness and diagnose narcolepsy.

Split Study Polysomnogram: A Split Study Polysomnogram is the combination of a nocturnal polysomnogram; with the possibility of CPAP treatment midway through the test.

O2 Titration: Supplemental Oxygen is provided for patients as medically indicated.

CPAP Clinic: CPAP set up and follow up evaluations by a sleep professional to verify: equipment function, mask comfort, CPAP tolerance, and treatment compliance

Positive Airway Pressure Therapy (PAP) CPAP,One level of pressure on inspiration and expiration. C-Flex,One level of pressure with expiratory relief setting. Bi-level, One level of pressure on inspiration and lower level of pressure on expiration.
